CODING IS AN ART

¢Why should we coders code like
non-coders want to ?
³ written by Colorbird/Razor 1911
¹Nowadays it seems like the code is
not important in a demo, its the
design that counts the most ! And
when I talk to a lot of my non-coding
friends on the scene about new
productions they do not appreciate
the same stuff as I do. Well, people
can have different opinions and that
is good but the funny thing here is
that its not that it are different
people that have different opinions.
Its that non coders have an opinion
that is quite the opposite to the
coders.
Well, if we take a routine that is
very advanced maths but does not look
so nice id you don't understand the
maths in it. Now most people think
that we should only code routines
that looks nice and not advanced that
don't look nice. Hmmm... why should
we coders accept that ?
If we should do that then I would
like these small things to be changed
also. First remove all drawn
graphics from bad graphicians, lets
digitise real pictures from better
artists. Digitised pictures of a
high quality would be much nicer! Do
not object you graphicians, this is
just the same argument all you
non-coders have against us coders.
So now we should have digitised
¶pictures in each demo instead! And
on AGA they lokk really REAL! And we
could also sample pieces of music
from real musicians that are much
better than the average
scene-musician too...
If you graphician and musician thinks
that this sound sick then think of
when you complains about.. "who
cares if that is very advanced, it
looks stupid, do a nice glenzvector
instead"
Advanced coding is an art that should
not be ruled by non-coders!
